I loved the idea of using my initials. It really helped me not draw the same string over and over.

Zentangle Weekley Challange # 28
Wow, that was hard! It got easier once I figured out you could just do the triangles one on top of the other. Still I don't think my eyes will uncross for a day or two.

Where is #26 you ask? My cat ate my mouse so I couldn't use my computer. Yeah, I know it's old but it still works.

Zentangle Weekly Challenge #25 http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com/2011/06/weekly-challenge-25.html
Last week I was looking through a old Quilting Arts magazine and came upon a website about Zentangle. What is a Zentangle?
Zentangles are miniature pieces of black and white art that are not only exquisitely beautiful, they are fun and relaxing to create.
Here is my first attempt. Next time I'll wear my glasses.

“According to CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) training, a Zentangle® is the form created on a 3.5 inch tile, with patterns referred to as tangles. Works using these patterns but differing in size and shape and surface are ‘Zentangle inspired Art’.” – Nancy Lubin, CZTThe process of creating a Zentangle® is a form of “artistic meditation”, as you become completely engrossed in making each pattern, deliberately focusing on “one stroke at a time”®. The creativity options and pattern combinations are boundless. And anyone can do it! http://www.zentangle.com/index.php
